Vendor parts are received at factory(800 Kms away) against PO released from HO at Pune. There RCIA is made at factory and send to HO along with bills. The rate, quantity, and other PO terms & conditions are evaluated by system and the Bill is passed accordingly. Invoice Voucher / Debit Advice is raised.

The Insurance Company consults KHML for verification and NOC of the Claim. The Claims are settled and payment is made to KHML/Dealer. Credit Note is generated for Dealers of whom Settlement amount is received by KHML.

The Orders of Spare Part is received & punched at KHML Pune. Depending on the Dealer status, credit facility to Dealer, payment received, stock considerations etc., the Order is accepted. Order Number is generated for accepted orders and the same is forwarded to Factory (Pithampur) by for execution on daily basis by Internet-Mail. The Order is executed at Factory and Invoice & Transportation data is received at Pune on daily basis and Stock data on monthly basis. Various MIS Report, Schedule Plan, Dealer Target reminder etc. are generated.

KHML receive free service coupons from their dealers on weekly basis. This data is received in a text format. This system involves loading this data into the ORACLE database, processing this data to do various validations. Depending upon the validations done payment data is generated and posted to finance module for Credit Note/Debit Advice generation and accounting purpose.

The Part Drawings are received from HM Japan having unique Specification & Part No, also as and when required the Drawings are drawn / modified for specific purpose and unique Part No is assigned on regular basis. Part No and all specification are punched and is processed for release of Technical Part List (TPL) to all departments for Purchase Order releasing and other activities and reports are generated.

Non Software Experience

  1. Working with R&D Dept (July 1995 - Dec 1997) of M/s Kinetic Motor Company Ltd. (formerly Kinetic Honda Motor Ltd.) my responsibilities as an R&D person included the following :
    1. Evaluation of Vendor Automotive Electronic & Electrical components through testing
      1. As per Honda specification., JIS, IS etc.,
      2. Environment Testing,
      3. Endurance / Durability Testing and
      4. Vehicle Endurance Testing etc.
      5. Special purpose tests.
      Followed by preparing Test reports and Failure Analysis. Follow up with vendor for correction of design / process as & when required and inter departmental follow up for the same.
    2. Warranty failure analysis and ensuring the corrective actions as above.
    3. Design corrections in drawings using AutoCAD.
    4. Development of Test Rigs, Special Purpose Rigs, its maintenance & calibration.
    Following is the brief gist of the project handled therein.
  2. Working with M/s Hem Electric Manufacturing Co. (P) Ltd. (Aug 1992- June 1995), the nature of job was to design and develop new Solid State Electronic Parts and Electrical Parts of Automobile from the very conceptual stage. My responsibilities included development, testing and production of all components (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic) of part under development by active coordination with all concerned departments. Following is the brief gist of the project handled therein.
    1. Designed & developed a fully solid state Voltage Current Regulator (Cut Out) of Dynamo for Cars to replace the conventional Electro Mechanical Cut Out.
    2. Designed & developed a Transistor assisted Electronic Ignition System for Cars as a separate unit with input from the existing distributor and ignition coil. A better power & mileage accomplished due to the increased spark intensity.
    3. Developed a solid state AC Flasher, CDI for scooters.
    4. Worked on development of Ignition Coil.
